okazio is a Swiss marketplace where private individuals and businesses post their listings: new and second-hand goods, vehicles and services.
Why
Swiss classifieds suffer from categories that are too broad, searches that find nothing, and language barriers between regions. Something posted in French in Fribourg ought to be findable by someone searching in German in Bern. That is the starting point.
What we do differently
A fine-grained taxonomy instead of a dozen catch-all aisles. A search that forgives typos and crosses all four languages. A listing flow that starts from a photo. And ratings whose mechanics make retaliation impossible.
Where the data lives
In Switzerland. Export and account deletion are real, immediate, and require no email request.
